The platform uses a subdomain-based routing system where each user receives a personal portfolio at username.careerx.pro, while the core application runs on the root domain. Middleware handles authentication, role-based access control, and subdomain-to-profile rewrites transparently.

At the core of CareerX is a multi-dimensional matching engine that connects individuals to opportunities based on weighted scoring across several vectors:

• Skills Overlap — Exact and semantic matching between a candidate's verified skills and job requirements.
• Experience Relevance — Years of experience weighted against the seniority level required.
• Location & Availability — Timezone compatibility and remote/hybrid preference alignment.

Match results are bidirectional — companies see ranked candidates for their postings, and individuals see ranked opportunities on their dashboard. The engine runs on-demand when companies trigger a match generation cycle.

CareerX implements a trustless payment system using on-chain escrow smart contracts deployed on EVM-compatible networks (BSC). The escrow lifecycle is as follows:
