• Profile Data: includes your username, password (encrypted), portfolio content, resume data, preferences, feedback and survey responses.
• Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website and app, including pages visited and features used.
• Transaction Data: includes details about payments made through the platform, including blockchain wallet addresses and transaction hashes for cryptocurrency payments.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• To register you as a new user and create your account.
• To process and deliver your subscription, manage payments, fees and charges.

• Supabase: for authentication and database hosting.
• Stripe: for payment processing (applicable card payments only).
• Resend: for transactional email delivery.

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

We use essential cookies and local storage for functional purposes only:

• Session Management: to maintain your authenticated session and login state.

• Wallet Connection: to persist Web3 wallet connection state during your session.

We do not use marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browsing behavior outside CareerX remains private and disconnected from our systems.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing algorithms. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. We limit access to your personal data to those employees and third parties who have a business need to know.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data, you can do so directly from your account settings page within the app or on our website.

Alternatively, you may request account deletion without logging in by visiting our Account Deletion Page or by contacting us directly at support@careerx.pro. We will process your request within 7 business days and notify you via email once your data has been permanently removed from our active databases.

Upon deletion, all your personal information, profile data, portfolio content, uploaded resumes, and associated records will be permanently removed from our systems. Blockchain transaction records, if applicable, cannot be deleted as they exist on public ledgers outside our control.

8. Children's Privacy

CareerX is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
