1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website located at https://careerx.pro or using our mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use CareerX. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. CareerX is not intended for children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Use License

Permission is granted to use the CareerX platform for personal and professional career management purposes. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform's proprietary software, design, or content. All intellectual property rights remain with CareerX.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Uploading false, misleading, or fraudulent information to portfolios or job applications.
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform or its related systems.
  • Using the platform for any illegal activity, including money laundering, fraud, or circumventing sanctions.
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users of the platform.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or any other malicious code through the platform.

6. Child Safety & Abuse Prevention

CareerX enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the distribution, promotion, or creation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any form of child exploitation. Any user found violating this policy will face:

  • Immediate and permanent account termination.
  • Reporting of all relevant information and data to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
  • Full cooperation with any resulting legal investigations.

We are committed to maintaining a safe platform for all users and comply with all applicable child protection regulations and reporting requirements.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

CareerX offers a Pro subscription tier that may be purchased via cryptocurrency payments (USDT, DST) on the BNB Smart Chain. By initiating a blockchain payment, you acknowledge that:

  • Blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible once confirmed on-chain.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your cryptographic keys and wallet.
  • CareerX cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses or lost due to user error.
  • Token prices are subject to market volatility and the displayed price at checkout is an estimate that may fluctuate.

CareerX is not a financial services provider and does not offer investment advice. Any cryptocurrency payment functionality is provided solely for the purpose of platform subscription access.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page in your dashboard, or by submitting a request through our Account Deletion Page. Upon account deletion, all personal data, portfolio content, and application history will be permanently erased from our systems within 7 business days.

9. Disclaimer

The materials on CareerX's platform are provided on an “as is” basis. CareerX makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

10. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall CareerX or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on CareerX's platform, even if CareerX has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration before resort to the courts.

12. Changes to Terms

CareerX reserves the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice. By continuing to use the platform after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for any changes.
